Over 48,000 kilometers traveled at full load, zero accidents, nearly 81 tons of CO2eq emissions saved - these are the key figures from our journey transporting the PalaJova 2025 across Italy, from March 8 to May 28.
According to data analyzed by Trident Music, the promoter, Lorenzo Cherubini’s PalaJova was “the most sustainable tour ever carried out among large-scale live productions,” both in terms of the energy used at each venue (100% from renewable sources, provided by A2A) and the transportation of people and materials. This was our task: transporting the stage and all equipment using trucks powered by innovative biofuels, specifically bioLNG, which has long been a cornerstone of our sustainability efforts.
It was an important challenge for us, which ended positively from both an organizational and operational standpoint. The results in terms of emissions and other sustainability targets are satisfying, .
Maganetti vehicles traveled a total of 48,217 kilometers with cargo, using 100% bioLNG. The total emissions for PalaJova’s transport therefore amount to -6,097 kg of CO2eq.
That negative number is not a typo: thanks to the extremely low environmental impact of the supply chain, Cooperativa Speranza (our partner for bioLNG) is able to certify a carbon-negative fuel, one that actually removes CO2eq from the atmosphere during its production cycle.
For this same transport service carried out using standard fuels, we would have emitted 75,747 kg of CO2eq in total. So the emissions saved across the entire tour amount to 81,844 kg of CO2eq.
Together with Trident Music, we also set a number of additional sustainability targets, beyond emissions reduction: throughout the operations, we received no fines from law enforcement, used no subcontractors, and had zero accidents, either on the road or during loading and unloading — meeting all the set targets.
We also reached 95% of our goal to optimize vehicle use and routes: the ratio of empty kilometers to total kilometers traveled was 27.1%, while the optimization threshold is 24%. This was influenced by traffic restrictions and public holidays during certain stages of the tour.
